Flow & Restore Yoga

Flow & Restore Yoga with Yoga Nidra

Upon arrival you will be greeted with a relaxing herbal tea. We will then begin the practice with a seated meditation to find stillness preparing us for a grounding yin & lunar yoga flow. This is then followed by restorative yoga using bolsters and props for extra support where we can feel safe to deeply let go of unwanted physical and emotional tension. We end the session with an aromatherapy infused savasana and Yoga Nidra.

£20 session includes tea and healthy treat to finish.

Soma Prana Vinyasa Workshop

 As we head toward the winter months we can often find ourselves depleted and lacking in vitality. Soma is connected to our inner essence our vital energy, this is a time to cultivate ojas and restore our defences. However modern living can leave us with little time for rest & rejuvenation.

Join me for an opportunity to explore the self through movement, relaxation and meditation. A chance to balance, heal and transform built up stress and tensions.

The yoga will include meditative vinyasa flow from the Soma Prana Vinyasa TM teachings of Shiva Rea and grounding restorative postures. We will complete the afternoon with an aromatherapy infused Yoga Nidra (often referred to as yogic sleep) to fully relax the senses and to set an intention (sankalpa) for the season ahead. Workshop includes herbal tea on arrival and healthy treat to finish.

Autumn a wonderful season bringing with it the winds of change and a time for some much need self-reflection. However, this can bring up resistance and feelings of unsteadiness for some. Join me for an opportunity to explore the self through movement, relaxation and meditation.

During these sessions we will explore some of the more challenging yoga poses and flow sequences. With a general focus on building core strength and stamina as well as increasing flexibility. All sessions end with an aromatherapy infused Savasana.

Summer Flow & Restore Candlelight Workshop

Summer Flow & Restore Candlelight Workshop heart

During this workshop we will learn to move with grace and ease as we flow like a summer breeze through various asanas and Vinyasa Flow sequences all linked by the breath. We will explore back bending asanas (postures) to open the heart space and supported inversions to calm and quiet the mind. We will physically stretch the muscles in our chests, shoulders and thoracic spine to open the heart space. This can create a deep emotional release which allows us to express ourselves more clearly and move forward from past tensions. So let’s embrace our emotions and explore a mixture of steady flowing postures before slowing the pace with a grounding sequence of Yin Yoga, all practiced in the summer evening glow of candlelight. We will then complete the workshop with Savasana and a guided meditation to leave ourselves feeling reawakened and connected to our deeper selves.
